Join us in-person for a unique teacher training experience!

Our in-person workshops are located at Koru Headquarters in Durham, NC or sponsored by a University. These trainings offer the opportunity for you to be immersed in our training and to meet fellow teachers in person.

We offer reduced hotel rates at each location, usually ranging from $130-$180/night and we make it easy for you to connect with other teachers if you want to share a room or travel together.

About Durham, NC

Recent winner of Southern Living magazine’s “Tastiest Town in the South”, Durham, NC has seen a renaissance in it’s downtown.

The workshop is located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to great restaurants, music venues, and our bustling Saturday morning farmer’s market. Before the training starts

Your advance reading assignment includes 2 books integral to the Koru curriculum. These books are available as e-books. You may be able to get them from your local or university library.

  1. Mindfulness for the Next Generation by Rogers and Maytan, Oxford Press.
  2. The Mindful Twenty-Something by Holly Rogers, New Harbinger.
