We are aware that it is our responsibility to support the safety of all who attend our in-person workshops. In order to create a supportive learning environment, we have consulted CDC guidelines and given careful thought to creating a safe space.
To provide for a feeling of comfort and ease, we will host our training in a well-ventilated space, and we will limit enrollment to create an intimate and safe training experience.
To further support a safe environment, all participants will be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID virus at least two weeks before the beginning of the training. Further, we will ask all participants to take a COVID test within 48 hours before the onset of the training. At home antigen tests will be accepted. We will have a limited number of tests available at the training for those who need them.
When you check-in at the training site on the first day, be prepared to show photos of your vaccine card and negative test.
If you develop symptoms of illness during the training, including cough, congestion, fever, headache, or other cold or flu-like symptoms, we ask you to leave the meeting and test yourself for COVID. Anyone who tests positive for COVID will be unable to attend the rest of the meeting.
At this point, masks are optional. Anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask is encouraged to do so. Our aim is for you to feel at ease so that you can get the most from your Koru training experience.
We will review and revise this COVID policy regularly.
Our bottom line: we are so excited to be training in-person again, and we want to do whatever we can to create a fun, safe and effective learning experience for all. We hope to see you there!
Please feel free to reach out to Holly if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.
