The start of the year can be an especially stressful time, especially for students taking a leave of absence. We’re excited and proud to highlight one of our Koru teachers this month, Kimberly Blackshear and the unique way of integrating Koru into her work at the time away office at Duke (the office that handles the leaves of absence from campus).
Since the start of the pandemic, Kimberly has been offering online Koru classes to Duke students stepping away from campus — a tricky and stressful time for students. This is a great use of Koru, and Kimberly has had good success with this program. We’d love to see other colleges try out Kimberly’s model.
